This alarming trend intensifies concerns about marine biodiversity loss, coral bleaching, and extreme weather patterns. “The oceans are Earth's climate buffer,” says Dr. Eliza Hart from the Global Climate Observatory. “When they heat up this fast, everything from fish stocks to coastal communities is at risk.”
Experts warn that continued warming could further destabilize weather systems and push global temperatures beyond Paris Agreement targets.
As the conversation around climate resilience grows, individuals and industries alike are being urged to take more aggressive steps toward sustainability.
